Forward thinking Swedish ultra car maker Koenigsegg, has created a model that runs on E85 biofuel and manages to produce over 1000 horsepower and 780 ft-lbs of torque. While the beautiful CCX-R won't produce a significant reduction in carbon emissions overall, it is definitely a step in the right direction and reinforces the fact that production cars do not have to run on petro to perform well.

I'd be happy to have access to one for a couple of hours. I live in Southwest Florida, where we have a long, flat highway called Alligator Alley. I'd love to take one out there and see how fast I could make it to Miami.

It will beat the Veyron. Period.
Editor's Response:
I think it will too, but the fastest production car is held by a Shelby creation. If you haven't seen it yet you might want to check out http://majorlycool.com/item...

That's the first thing I thought too. I couldn't find any definitive road performance data to compare to the Bugatti. The Veyron looks hard to beat though. I'd be happy to have either in my garage.
